We stayed at Bridgepointe to see the fireworks directly across the river at Lawson Creek Park. We asked for and got a fourth floor room, wonderful for the on and off rain. This year we stayed in the room for the whole event. We saw a lot of guests in the parking lot and on the lawns too. The parking lot was blocked to only admit guests of the hotel. An amazing experience! Comfortable beds and very clean room. Good TV for watching the National Concert and the NY fireworks.

The BridgePointe was a nice distance to the downtown area of New Bern and the facilities were what you’d expect for a hotel at this price point. However their staff was exceptional and went above and beyond to be helpful including ensuring my glasses I’d left behind made their way back to me. Thank you!

Excellent hotel. I love the location right off the river. My wife and I went out for a nice little romantic walk along the pier and just set and held hands. Gets no better than this. Cool staff too. One receptionist educated me about alligators (hahaha).

The most attractive features of this hotel are that it's very dog friendly and within a short drive of the historic downtown of New Bern. It offers a water view and a large grassy area for dog walking.

I needed a handicap accessible restroom and it was large and roomy to accommodate my wheelchair. The bed was comfortable and we had a view of the water.
